EOD Download/ Convert from NSE and BSE

This where eoddlc will provide flexibility (as of now it is for NSE/BSE EOD data. You can choose the sequence and fields and also if there should be header line and if so whether meta header ( like <ticker> ) or simple header (like ticker or symbol). You can decide the delimiter like comma or tab or quote though most accepted format is comma.

So one can decide his own conversion format in advanced view.I hope to extend this facility to other data sources like FNO/MCX/NCDEX

Its very appreciable that you are working in such a piece of software like EOD downloader selflessly, very commendable, keep it on, one question can it download nse and bse eod both ? pl forgive me for ignorance if this matter is posted in earlier posts, i am not a regular viewer

current version supports eod from NSE and BSE and its conversion. Future and Options from NSE(automatic conversion), Indices data from NSE, NSE PE/PB/Yield Ratio and Historical data from BSE through Watch list which includes almost all indices.

new version will support enhanced watchlist of BSE, attending to errors pointed out in previous posts, and in addition commodities data from MCX and NCDEX.

Thereafter it might support dynamic data exchange for AMI and FC(which supports it. I can't pay for metastock so don't know if it supports dynamic data exchange from such downloaders e.g quotetracker.If it does then that will get supported. I had metastock help file given by devraj (old member of traderji) but now that is lost. so can't help much on this till I get another help file at least.

It is like promising moon but will try. No harm in doing that.

Pankaj, i had been using ur utility for a long time,wud like to offer my gratitute to you. However since last 2-3 trading sessions, Application is not converting downloaded future files. works fine with NSE cash & BSE..but with F&O, it just download the csv file but while processing it just creates a blank file (inside convert folder).. tried it with different machine & yeah I use latest version 1.25.2 i guess??

If you give me error file in BIN folder or error line for days when you faced these problem, may be I can find out why.

I too face the same issue while converting fut data as shunya for the past 3-4 days. Can u pls help me in sorting out. Am attaching the error file details below as i couldn't attach by way of file here.

Dear Mr. Pankaj I also using your eod utilities but from 22-01-2008 data downloading correctly and converting but 23-01-2008 to 29-01-2008 (today) F&o data is not converting please check and replay thanks in advance (Your utilitiy is useful for all person so please rectify the error)
