Fisrt of all i should thank you and Soumya for having taken lot of pains to help newbies like me. Really the job done by both of you is great. I have downloaded the data from the above links. But when i tried to unzip bse file and open it with excel it gives me an error messg as the file is not opened fully. I get only part of the data.

Can u kindly help me resolve this issue?

Dear Ramesh,
The file should be imported using quoteman, excel cannot open the complete file because of the limitation of number of lines a file can have.
