i am sorry i dont use fibotrader. atleast u could setup it. i could nt do that also

Hi All members,

Please Help me, I have downloaded Fibotrader and also replaced main file.

I am importing the bhavcopy in txt/csv formate
as : Script,date,open,high,low,close,volume

but the data is not importing to the fibotrader properly, not a single script's chart is shown, I have imported the data as method given by the software's help menu, but still no result is happening.

I Hope Some will Help me, Please.

even i faced the same problem. use amibroker and down loaders are available which will directly update to amibroker, and it is too good a soft.

Yes , fisrt put all the EOD file to be downloaded in a folder say ....\NSE_EOD
second, start quoteman for downloading data , when import ASCII windows opened dont go for single file like......\NSE_EOD\cm17APR2009bhav.csv , it will import only this file but instead write ......\NSE_EOD\*.csv
this way it will import all the files in ....\NSE_EOD folder.

Thank You Soumya and Aaplana. I Yesterday only joined. I was looking for a charting software in which I could update data. While surfing I found the site traderji which is a very good site. I found the introductory remarks of Soumya very impressive and salute the zeal with which she has taken to inform all of us about fibotrader. In the same way the help provided to all the members by Aaplana is also commendable. Do keep it up both of you. Dear,
I have not uploaded quote file any where, what i do is just donwload bhavcopy from nse site and convert it ( thru a utillity, readble Fibo format, the utility can be downloaded from http://www.traderji.com/equities/10035-stocks-keep-close-eye-post320081.html#post320081) and upload into Fibo, Historical bhavcopies can also be downloaded from nse site.

dear aaplana,
while converting bhavcopy using your utility an error message comes path not found. help me on this. I have downloaded the main file and quotes_0 file then also I dont know why the s/w is not working. Suggestions are needed.
