Hi all,

I have started using recently Fibotrader ...it's the best that i have come across so far.

However, I notice that the 'List' functionality is not working properly. If I select Date, Closing Price columns it displays the data for the first record for a particular stock not the most recent record. Can somebody help me on this?

Further I would like to caution that ADX/DMI indicator in Fibotrader is wrongly constructed. It also does not contain Chaikin Money Flow indicator. If people are interested, I can upload my scripts for the above two indicators.

Very interesting, could you send us your zipped data directory to [email protected] so that we can try to find the date bug? We have never had this so far.

You are welcome to also send your scripts to that adress so that we can check them.

I use the local Ascii folder option. My Quote_0 database is empty. I tried overcoming the problem using a custom list column. But the column does not appear in the drop down when I try to add a new column. It appears that there is no way to insert a custom column in 'Lists'.

Elder Ray
High/Low Channel
ZigZag

High/Low and ZigZag cannot create any signals by default with the price since they just visualize points, zigzag has no interpretative meaning since it is drawn AFTER everything happened and is also not stable. HighLow is never crossed by the price data and thus does not generate signals either.

Barros swing was developed with no signal interpretation attached. Please contact Ramon Barros for further details. Where should signals be displayed in Elder Ray? We do not know of any commonly used default interpretation but are of course open for suggestions.

List columns have a naming convention. Put them in the scripts/columns folder and prefix it with "Symbol_" in order to appear in the symbol dependent category.

We just tried a date column with ASCII directory data and it works fine here. Could you send us some sample files ([email protected])?

There are probably thousands of methods to do this. One simple way is to use the Current Trend indicator, which will draw a regression line and generate a buy signal if rising and a sell signal when declining.

Hi fibotrader user,
Please anybody can help me? I downloaded last 2 days mcx bhav copy and i modified to csv format. After modified i opened fibo trader and i created MCX seperate folder and i import that files to fibotrader thro quoteman and store that folder.But that datas are not merged, i mean 2 days datas are seperately showing the symbol folder at the same time i downloaded NSE bhav copy thro nseindia.com and i imported thro quoteman that time yesterday datas are added from old datas correctly.
So i dont know wat i am doing mistake. So anybody Please Help Me . I could view all Nse stocks and future graph in fibotrader but i couldn't view commodity graph. only i could view only one (seperately) day datas graph. So pls tell me how to import Daily Mcx datas to fibotrader with old datas. I am waiting for your great reply . So pls tell me .

Example :- after i imported that two days datas i want to view Aluminum Nov contract . i should that two days datas show in one graphs. but here i could view only seperate date datas. So any fibotrader user Please help me.

pile up all data into a .csv file and import it through Quoteman.
if u have full commodity data cud u pls share it with me?

when i was updating data today i did a mistake and i want to delete todays data and update it again . plz guide how can i do this
