Go to first page of this thread. There is a small utility( s/w ) for converting data downloaded from NSE/BSE to meta stock format.

Down load this free GETBHAVECOPY DOWNLOADER and Donate the original developer for his efforts.

Please check the latest version of Getbhavcopy. It downloads Futures data from NSE too.

in india max people use pirated copy of metastock. is there any issue to match the getbhavcopy with it. if iwant 5 years historical data and daily update facility. how to that?

You will have to do it manually.

For the 5 year data, search the forums, someone has uploaded a zip file which contains 5 year data.
