In your market watch add a blank line (press insert button on keyboard) at end otherwise last scrip in market watch won't be back filled. Make sure last item in MW is a blank line.

Start RTD utility.
Select "Nest Plus" radio button.
Select scrips you want or select all scrips. Make sure at least one scrip is selected. The error you are getting is because no scrips are selected.

In above image from RTD:
First button is for selecting all scrips.
Second button is for de-selecting all scrips.
Third button is to edit settings file directly (using notepad etc).
Fourth button is to restart RTD. Make sure at least one scrip is selected before clicking this button.

Now click "Start RTD".

If you have started RTD after market opens:
-using menu see settings. If "Delete quotes" is "Yes" then backfill will be very slow. If "Delete quotes" is "No" then backfill will be fast.
-select scrips you want to backfill (make sure at least one scrip is selected) and click "Do Backfill".

Thank you, I have done it but i am facing new problem when i try to connect with RTD, please give solution, I want help of step by step instruction , at present I am using old Josh sir excel utility which is working fine but slow, i thought this utility will help me feeding data fast. thank you once again,

Small Request , while back-filling without delete quotes option volumes are getting added to existing tick data volume .
so, while back-filling without delete quotes option,
if we can ignore volume data we can get accurate consolidated OHLC values without loosing volume details and on the fly back-filling too.
Please check whether its feasible.

Take out the volume column from the data table by Reposition coloumn save it and backfill. Not tried may work, reply if works. try both vwap and plus

These RTDMan/RTD utilities are for NOW, NEST only.

For ODIN try Josh1's utility. See his signature for download link.
Download "RTNOW-2014-07-04.zip" and follow "Setup Instructions.docx".

Try this and see if it works:
When Volume is not wanted manually edit rtd.format or rtd2.format and replace Volume with skip. Then do the backfill.

Stop RTD or from task manager kill all instances of RTD.exe and RTDMan.exe.

Ensure below settings are followed:

Settings in NEST/NOW
Market Watch Columns – following columns must be present 
Trading Symbol . Exchange .Series/Expiry . Instrument Name .Symbol .Option Type .Strike Price

VWAP Statistics Column
"Start Time","Open Rate","High Rate","Low Rate","Close Rate","Differential Vol"

DataTable Column order is very important to get proper backfill from Data Table
Scrip Name, "Date Time","Open,"High","Low","Close","Volume"

Now try again.
