Shankar,
Can you please add Amibroker database selection option in your settings?

Bug Report RTD 1.23
Now It confirmed
1) IF RTDman is started before 9.15 it push quote to amibroker
Even if in database start time is set 9.15

2) If RTDman is running [feeding amibroker] realtime and if we try delete quotes...
Slowness is notice in amibroker and cursor is lags..

Checked for two days

1) I dont have any setting that will allow this. I generally start RTDMan before though and normally dont face issues.
Once i saw negative volume which can be seen as RTDman bug, but saw only once. My guess is its probably due to bad data or yesterday's data.

If you want this, What RTD could do is to start RTDMan say few seconds before 9:15. Also setup AB to ignore quotes before 09:15

2) I have done this many times before when i used manual backfill. 99% times i never faced issue. Rarely i had seen this problem and i had to restart AB. My guess is that its AB bug.
But now i use Backfill. Note that Backfill does quote deletion and insertion while RTDman is still running, and it usually works.

What do you expect? That is bound to happen. You are deleting some quotes and iserting one quote every second. Amibroker has to redraw the chart. That is not a bug but processing overhead.

If you want speed while deleting a large range of quotes, put that specific scrip in the background. Keep its chart closed.

If 'slowness' means the tick by tick delete that takes a dozen or so seconds ( depending on data) then that its normal behaviour. There are lots of COM calls that take time.
What i mentioned was something i didnt see for few months now - AB had just started lagging even after backfill.

@TB
In Amibroker Start time is set 9.15
Select Show Day session only in DB Intraday settings along with Trading Hours. Then i only see candles from 9:15 and looks ok ( they look same as icharts )
I dont bother about extra ticks but usually there are no extra ticks after 9:07. Anyway its all upto what RTD data we get from Nest.

-Could it be related to the number of scrips in market watch? I don't know, just wondering.

-Test it with backfill but without deleting quotes and see if the same cursor lag is there.

ShankarJi/JoshJi/TracerBulletJi/RaghuveerJi,

What should be the Maximum Ceiling for the number of scrips for an Optimum Performance without tantrums .
