Hi Raghuveer,

I followed the below link on github website

and checked all the versions available. I didn't find any exe file in those zip files, can someone direct me to the correct zip file link with a valid exe?

May be the problem with format file. check your .format files..

I am always Using NEST+ for Both RTD n BackFill. But in this case i tried both NEST+ n Vwap but results are the same - No Backfills for mid Period.

And opened CRUDEOIL1.txt file found in R:\RTBACKFILL as u instructed and i can see that the data contained therein are the quotes for the exact period that i need backfill for.
AND YET ITs not BACKfilling the GAP in Ami DATABASE.

Check if you have rtd1.format rtd2.format files in Your\AmiBroker\formats folder and are they corrupted?

YES!!! that NAILED it!!! Thank u sooo much Josh Ji :

Actually Amibroker is in the path H:\ProgFiles and INSTALLER.exe has the option to chose path BUT... FORMATs.exe is invariably extracted to C:\ProgFiles\Ami\Formats Folder irrespective of the PATH chosen for INSTALLER.exe.
So i manually extracted the Formats Files to H:\ProgFiles\Ami\Formats Folder and VOILA !!! now i can BackFill any Period anytime.

EDIT: may have a weeee bit prob, cos when i tried to backfill just now for mid period from 16:52:00 to 17:04:00 with NEST+ it backfilled only the last Quote ,ie, 17:04:00 even after 5th attempt (checked DATA file (.txt) in RT folder - there was only one quote 17:04:00).
However when tried with Vwap it backfilled rightaway for the right period in single attempt.

RTD_V_1.20.au3 uploaded in my links.

In this version -
1. Integrated Index backfill. It works even if Index window is not pulled out of Nest. However, Indexes should be present.
2. Fixed the issue of last Scrip not getting updated by NestPlus backfill

Forgot to create executable.

This installer is for testing!!!!! soon will release the update with icons after testing!!!!!

Features

1. Delete tics added

Suggestion
It would helpful if there is database path in settings
So that it feeds/open database particular path only
Eg:- Useful while using two instance of amibroker. By default it takes program files...

Second eg:-
When amibroker is installed in other drive. RTD does't feed opened amibroker,instead it opens new instance amibroker and feeds...

While the RTDMAN runs smoothly, the problem occurs when , the Amibroker, if for any reason, exits abruptly and when we restart RTDMAN, it opens a new instance of AmiBroker with a Blank Chart even though the DATABASE (which is Default DB) is same as that of previously abruptly exited Amibroker Instance.

While the RTDMAN runs smoothly, the problem occurs when , the Amibroker, if for any reason, exits abruptly and when we restart RTDMAN, it opens a new instance of AmiBroker with a Blank Chart even though the DATABASE (which is Default DB) is same as that of previously abruptly exited Amibroker Instance.

The Amibroker or RTDMan, if for any reason, exits abruptly, AmiBroker GUI switches off. However, Broker.exe process remains in active. When we restart RTDMan, it does not detect the running process and opens new instance of AmiBroker.

Close RTDMan and the AB instance with Blank Chart. Press Ctrl+alt+Del to open Windows Taskbar. Kill the Broker.exe process. Thereafter restart RTDMan.

It is always better to Start NOW/Nest -- AmiBroker -- RTD in that order.
