Dear Josh

I know about the data downloader by Joydeep Mitra, but it takes a lot of time & selecting too many options. So my suggestion is, if possible why don't you add Historical EOD Data Backfill & Intraday Data backfill option in RTGoogle Excel file. I know it may take a lot of time to add these features. So try to add these features in coming versions of RTGoogle.

Put in efforts for at least 10 minutes if you want something free. I am myself using Data Downloader for intra day backfill of cash scrips. It takes hardly 1 minute for 20-50 scrips. First time set up requires only 5 minutes. There is Sahil Gupta's Hakija and and Hemen's Getbhavcopy for EOD data. I do not see any valid reason to invest time and efforts for reinventing the wheel.

Data Puller did not work on my PC. It opened intra day chart of the highlighted scrip and ended there.

It will support 5 paisa if that is capable of sending real time quotes to Excel.

Use RTGoogle. Yahoo stopped giving RT data
