i am getting RT forn ODIN to AMI GOOD

BUT BACK FILL NOT POSSIBLE

i am done as per instructions

please give me how to back fill from excel to AMI

i am posting my excel file data that not able to back fill can u tell me how to back fill

Okay, I had faced simillar problem few weeks back, where I had everything correct, and had used this utility for past 2 months, and then it stopped working suddenly..

I debugged the code and have optimized few lines, Now it worked for me.. I am sharing the same file here, Please try this and let me know.

Since I am trading only with Nifty I have modified it for max 5 scrips to give better performance..

Use Amibroker's import wizard. Procedure is given in Amibroker tutorial/User's guide.

In this data no OPEN HIGH CLOSE there JUST DATE TIME LTP and Valume there

Hi k_vvprasad...............
Do the following
Open amibroker
File>>>Import wizard
Press Pick Files button
In open window appears choose files of type as All files like below.

Choose the excel file (SILVER 04MAY2013) which u need to backfill from.
Next.......
Set all options like below..

Next........

Finish...

From the above steps u have created the Odin format file in the following folder.
C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\Formats
You need not to repeat the above steps again and again to import data.

Just follow below steps only to import data each time.

Open amibroker
File>>>>>>>Import ASCII
Choose files of type as ODIN like below.

in the above image it is noted as odin format don't confuse with it just an example.
Browse and Open the excel file (SILVER 04MAY2013) which u need to backfill from.
Thats all.......

I cannot give you screenshots since I do not have Odin.
You cannot import from that file since it is not a Comma Separated Value (.CSV) file. Once you get data in excel, you have to save it as .csv file so that Amibroker can import it. Please follow backfill instructions in toto.

i tried to find the RTNest.txt in the folder but there wasent that in the folder
nor there is a txt file named RTNest in my pc

There is no RTNest.txt file so you cannot find it.
