Looks Okay.....
However, you have 95 symbols in Excel and Ami keeps 74 in cache. Is your RTNest having 95 symbols? That means, Ami has to save quotations of 21 symbols to the disk every three seconds. This may be obstructing the refresh since saving to disk takes time.

Go to Amibroker --Tools -- Preferences -- Data -- In memory cache size -- (max. megabytes) .......... Increase it from 512 to say 768 or 1024 and see if that makes any difference.

Hi, thanks for asking such question, which I think is mandatory for new users.

1. I have ami 5.6(x32) with office 2013 professional version(X32) in windows 8.1(X64). All in single drive, and they are working fine.

2. on simple clean installation I faced similar problem where user don't get any ticker in excel sheet. try these.

-Reboot your computer.
-Run both NEST / NOW and Excel into admin (use command prompt to run RTNOW/RTNEST into admin mode) then in non-admin mode.
-make sure you're opening RTnow for NOW and RTnest for NEST trader. (i made this mistake and it costs me hours)
-Reboot again which worked for me.

p.s I run both nest trader(zerodha) and RTNest in non-admin interface.
Can you please explain a bit more
"Run both NEST / NOW and Excel into admin (use command prompt to run RTNOW/RTNEST into admin mode) then in non-admin mode."
In command prompt(admin) windows is opened
Nest/Now started how?
Then excel started in another commandprompt(admin) window?
Then you close both windows.
Then you open now/nest in user mode and then rtnest/rtnow.
Now you get data from now in rtnow.
I have office2013 hoem&student edition 32 bit in c: drive of windows 8.1(32 bit) and amibroker 32, nest and now in D: drive.
If you can explain above clarification, then I will try myself.

LVG,

You know how to run programs in Admin mode. You are already running them as such. I have included your suggestions in SETUP Instructions.
Remove admin previleges from properties and run as normal user. Try and see if you get tickers.

Xp (SP-3) +2gb RAM is required. Ami requires 512mb cache and OS will take 250mb. RAM less than 2GB means there will be no free RAM for other programs if you want to run any. OS will start swapping to disk.
Processor speed may be 2GHZ. I have not tried lesser than that.
VB settings inside code? No. I cannot remember reference.

Josh,
Yes. I know as you said regarding admin mode.
I just wanted to know how he has done. Because when things are there in C: drive, I was not getting data from nest in excel.
I am running in my laptop with win8.1,office 2007 and ami 5.69 all 64 bit and I have put all in D: drive and run all in user mode.
Recently I bought a dell venue 8 pro tablet with windows 8.1 32 bit, office 2013- 32 bit click-to-run version of home and student edition which comes installed in C: drive and can not be shifted to any where else. Hence my post.
