I am running in my laptop with win8.1,office 2007 and ami 5.69 all 64 bit and I have put all in D: drive and run all in user mode.

COM automation is not supported in 64 bit MSOffice. Are you sure..? Windows and Ami can be 64 bit.

Sorry office 2007 is 32 bit.

Yes. I know as you said regarding admin mode.
I just wanted to know how he has done. Because when things are there in C: drive, I was not getting data from nest in excel.
I am running in my laptop with win8.1,office 2007 and ami 5.69 all 64 bit and I have put all in D: drive and run all in user mode.
Recently I bought a dell venue 8 pro tablet with windows 8.1 32 bit, office 2013- 32 bit click-to-run version of home and student edition which comes installed in C: drive and can not be shifted to any where else. Hence my post.

My guess is you've installed Nest Trader in admin mode (by right clicking on setup.exe and run as admin). this way you have to run excel into admin to get the data..

try this.
1. uninstall nest trader, reinstall without running setup.exe into admin.
restart system and try everything in non-admin mode.

It's really strange! I have removed 1 or 2 symbols ,then I stop rt data and started again , It's now working , My total symbols in database = 95, and symbols in cache is 75, I have backfilled all symbols , my database is now restored with previous symbols list, its working fine now, Tomorrow I have to do same exercise again, Is there problem with no. of symbols ?

I myself used to get whole NSE100 list into ami without any problem.
p.s make sure your connection is fast with at least 4 GB ram. else it might lag a little bit.

don't forget restarting your system, somehow it seems to be a cache problem(something alike)

I have combined HSBackfill and NowBackfill with RTNOW and RTNest. They recognise running Amibroker and backfill data. There is no need to go to Amibroker and save first.
New files are uploaded. Those interested can download and use them.

Now a days, google is also providing volume along with the real time data. is it possible to get the same using RTGoogle in ami?

Hi Josh, the volume in back fill is working but not working in live feed. I have tried all combinations but don't know what the problem is. Help please

You can have a trouble free Equity data feed from a few who provide it for absolutely free of cost.

I have been using one for a long time.
