Hi Josh, the volume in back fill is working but not working in live feed. I have tried all combinations but don't know what the problem is. Help please

I have set up the NEST to Amibroker using RTDATA files and price bars are getting updated very well. My problme is that the volume chart on Amibroker is not getting updated when feeding line (using RTNOW excel). So, my candlesticks are coming live but not the volume. I have checked the excel sheet, and "Volume Traded Today" cell is getting updated but it is not getting updated in the Amibroker.

If your requiement is only Equity.

You can have a trouble free Equity data feed from a few who provide it for absolutely free of cost.

I have been using one for a long time.

Can you please provide the details of how to get this data for equities.

Hi Josh, Thanks for the tool, quite helpful.

Trying to backfill all 20 days data including current day for 1 scrip. When trying to use "Back" sheet getting this:

Clicking on debug takes me to this line:
ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs FileName:=BackfileName, FileFormat:=xlCSV, CreateBackup:=False 'saved new workbook as C:\RT\NowBackfil.csv

C:\RT\ exists and is writable. NowBackfil.csv is there.

The regular NowBackfil.xlsm is backfilling without any problem. Nest, RTD sheets and RT updates are working fine. Did not try HS sheet.

Using the new version of RTNest.xlsm in 5mb Ramdrive in R:\.
Win7 x64, Amibroker 32bit 5.40, Excel 2010 32bit.
Nest Trader 3.10.57.97.7, NestPlus_1.7.1.0.

hi josh

though my TT watchlist has more than 75 symbols, i can only fetch 65 symbols in amibroker! RTG3 doesnt take more than it. i see blank cells beyond 65!

is there a cap of symbols fetched? if yes, can i increase the num of symbols?

Since you are using RAM drive 'R:\', Nestbackfill.txt should be created there. Are you using RTNOW are RTNest?. I have tested RTNest. Check in your R:\ Drive

You aare using wrong utility. Download latest and use RTTiger.

Which field for volume are you linking from NSENOW? Volume Traded Today or something else?

Since you are using RAM drive 'R:\', Nestbackfill.txt should be created there. Are you using RTNOW are RTNest?. I have tested RTNest. Check in your R:\ Drive

using RTNest.xlsm.
Putting RAM Disk Path=R: solves the problem.

All these days I had RAM Disk Path=R:\ without any problem. So I just continued the same way in the new version also which was the cause of the problem.

"Back" sheet is working without any problem. Nestbackfill.txt is being created in R:.
