So you learned Autoit. It must have been a breeze for you.
[TB] I didnt learn it, just tried to modify code. Most programming languages will have similiar basic concepts. Only need to google / copy syntax. Its easier to modify then to start from scratch.

Why did you hardcode Nifty? There are other indexes also like Sensex.
Alias is not necessary since they are Spot indexes.
[TB] Its only for me, ignore it. I want it as NIFTY in Amibroker (instead of CNX-Nifty) and i only use NIFTY. I did it as fast workaround.
What i meant was that in future we can add a column in the scrip list to give alias so that if someone wants a different scrip name in Amibroker he can do it.

Yes.. Looping is required since Vwap does not open on first try.

If you don't want to drag Index window out, use can use control ID of the List-View which is 1910.instead of SysListView32 Instance 1.....like I am using 1003 for Market watch in NestBackfill. In that case Window Title should remain Nest Trader 3 and we may be able to merge it in future

i find that refreshing the market watch in nest helps NestVwapbackFill app to pick up all the symbols without missing some.

Hi Josh ,

I started getting quotes in Amibroker through my Nest Trader for USDINR & Commodities MCX with the help of your RT Nest utility.

Though a new kind of problem has arisen and that is whenever I start RT utility it opens Amibroker but the data which was saved gets vanished and the symbols start getting data afresh from the time I start RT through the utility. Also the database changes to default EOD database settings of Amibroker from the Intraday settings which were done according to the set up instructions.

I was using NOW RT utility earlier for NSE F&O and this problem never arose so I am unaware of whats missing.

I made a small change in the RT utility and only after that I got currency & MCX data in Amibroker . The change was in the Exchange Time - Start at 9:00 am & end at 23:30 pm.

I have tried almost 15 times today of getting things right but this problem of database error is repeating relentlessly.

IMHO try NestRTD, developed by TraderBullet its minimilistic,
noninvasive, and quotes are fast to Ami.
AFAIK even Josh1 uses this for his personal use.

noninvasive, and quotes are fast to Ami.
AFAIK even Josh1 uses this for his personal use.

I want to use this utility by TracerBullet but I am unable to set up it as I am totally from a non-technical background. Codes are Greek to me.

Until this utility gets a UI which is self explanatory I'll have to wait.

Why doesn't some user create a help file for NestRTD? Both of us cannot do everything. Even help file for RTNest requires update.
