@ Users of RTODIN ,

Recently, one user opened account with Achiievers Equities. They provided ODIN for commodities. He set up RTODIN for data feed to AB.

However, it was found that Save Chart in xls format was disabled. Hence backfill became a problem. When he contacted Achiievers, they demanded extra fees for enabling the facility.

Thrugh which broker are the RTODIN users trading for commodities? Are they getting proper backfill? and is the brokerage competitive in comparison with Achiievers?

@ Users of NestRTD / RTNest

Similar situation arose with Master Trust. They provide MasterSwift which is actually Nest Trader sans RTD server. When requested to enable RTD server, they demanded extra monthly charges.

This does not seem to be a situation with Zerodha. They charge only whatever they state on their web site. None of the menus are disabled in their trading terminal.

I am not promoting any broker nor am I related to any one. However, this sort of behavior of brokers is irritating for the traders. Especially when these things are known after opening account with them.

It will be good for other members if those using my utilities list out the names of brokers they are trading with and getting their data feed without any caveats by brokers.

@ Josh1,

AFAIK brokers providing RTD without extra charges,
RKSV, TSO, Zerodha,
Alice Blue provides only one days backfill in data table,
said enabling data for 15 days would cost extra.

Guiness Securities (Kolkata) provide Diet ODIN and they do not charge anything.

@Josh1 and other colleagues in this thread

It is the same with me. Mastertrust demanded Rs. 500/- pm for enabling RTD. Achiievers demanded Rs. 1300/- (or nearabout) per month for enabling it in full. It seems there is hidden cost at every step. The brokers assume traders won't ask for techie services and will be happy punching buys and sells. This is so primitive.

Other traders with the above two brokers may kindly inform if they are being charged at Mumbai or Delhi for RTD enabling. I would like to pick up the issue with Achiievers from this point on.
