Whenever I am trying to backfill and selecting Nest Plus or VWAP getting error " Trading Symbol must be present Market Watch". I, however, already have Trading Symbol both in Marketwatch and Data Table.

Steps undertaken by me:

1. Started NOW as an administrator from Start Menu.
2. Started NestRTD.exe as an administrator from C:\Program Files\AmibrokerFeeder_0.1.4.1_binary\NestRTD which automatically opened Amibroker.
2. Opened Data Table of one of the scrips in the Marketwatch.
3. Started NowVwapBackFill_0.5.exe as an administrator from C:\Program Files\Backfill_0.5

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate, Amibroker 5.8 and getting realtime quotes into Amibroker through NestRTD.exe without any issues. I also copied both rtd.format and rtd2.format into the formats folder of Amibroker.

@Chandanseal,

Where did you install NOW? This seems to be rights issue. Backfill is not able to read your Market watch columns. Did you click on "Save" button after repositioning Mktwatch columns?

Try installing NOW out side of Program files. Best place is on another drive. You will be able to run all without administrator privileges. And do not keep DataTable open when you backfill.

What were you doing? Take a fresh copy of Nowbackfill or better use NowVwapbackfill.

Try running 32bit backfill utility in admin mode.

That's exactly what I was trying, but it is not working for me.

Data is saved automatically when you click on "Stop RTData" if you have Licensed version of AmiBroker. Demo version does not save data. Licensed Version is available for one time cost which is very reasonable in my opinion. If you want to operate on pirated version, may God help you.

MAY I KNOW WHY U HAVE SAID THAT PIRATED COPY DONT WORK OR WHAT....:lol:

on oppening of the backfill app it should activate the now minimized application if it is not doing it then follow the below instruction.


Change you title as NOW and try if it not working then change it as NOW 1.13.2.0 and if it also not working then change it as NOW 1.13.2.0 DC0011-13906,13906 and try.

It is now working fine. :clap: In the morning today it didn't work. But now, in the afternoon, it's working.... and I haven't changed a thing. Wow!! Thank you very much. :clapping:
