Hi,
Is there any person in this forum who is an Indian resident and actually trading in forex using offshore account or broker??

Everyone is talking about how to trade wise and well but first we must know if forex trading is really feasible from India.... so if you are a forex trader living in India full time then please post here the procedure of opening account, transferring funds, withdrawal and if it ever requires your visit abroad etc.

Thanks.
AdaG.
I was demoing for almost 2 months and recently opened a live account with Forex-Metal broker. I am an Indian resident, the broker is offshore. No problmes with transferring funds, they accept e-currencies and bank wires. When I was opening the account, they asekd me to provide them with a copy of my ID (driver's license or passport) and a copy of the utility bill showing my address. I also filled the form on their website.

Any one from chennai here??
Yes,

I am a full time professional Forex Trader and my favourite pair is EUR/USD and GBP/USD - 99 per cent of my trades are from these pairs.

I am trading full time for the last 3 years, and I trade on behalf of some of my relatives and friends.

If you are interested to know more, please send me a mail at sundarivaidya @ gmail.com

I am not a demo trader and only a real trader and I am trading as I give this message to you.

I belong to Chennai and presently have my Trader's Shop near Hyderabad.

Also, many peoples tell about transfering money abroad of india to offshore broker account. I go to bank and ask manager to open account in usd, but he tell's me that is imposible.

Maybe I need to fill any papers and register this operations in RBI?

Can you ask me the procedure of transfering money to foreign broker companies?
As per RBI regulations, every Indian can transfer abroad up to 200,000 USD anually. So just gather bank account details of your broker and go to your Indian bank, ask for a wire transfer, that's it. You don't need to show any justifications as long as the total sum of your transfers doesn't exceed 200,000 USD pear year.
