Can we do this every morning before starting our Trading ?

Self Talk for Traders...

* I have a trading plan today.

* I am ready for both loss and profit.

* I will not put myself down if I make a loss.

* I will not feel emotional if I make profit.

* As GOD is busy with other novice traders, I will not disturb him again and again.

* I will exit the market when I have made my profit, I will not stay more as I am not greedy.

* I am not going to blame anybody for losses.

* I am going to appreciate the person who was the reason for the profit.

* I will treat trading as a job, and will dedicate discipline to my job.

* I will not trade on hunches.

The "secret" is one such thing, often misunderstood. The fault doesn't lie with the "Secret" but with the people who (mis)interpret it. Sorry to butt into your discussion. Just 2 c
Multiple viewpoints are good for any discussion.
My viewpoint is results, whether misunderstood or not, it fails miserably.

If you are at peace, you are living in the present...how?

What if you are in the middle of a warzone or an earthquake zone, how could you be at peace when people are dying

all around you? Is this really Lao Tzu who said it?
Asking uncomfortable questions is not allowed because famous philosophers are always right, even when it is obvious that they are wrong. Tradejoker will explain this concept in detail :D

98% of self help books do not work, but the industry has grown to 20 billion a year.
most people realise by the 3rd or 4th book that this stuff is of very little value.
then what is driving this industry to make it grow to 20 billion?
the business of selling hope.......... .the strong are able to see it and reject it, but .......

the drowning man will clutch at ANY straw, if he thinks he can pull himself out........ until the next straw, and the next straw, and the next book and the next book.

ST Sir, I am facing few doubts in market trend and sideways range identification. Please confirm if the study in the following images are correct or not ? (Assume all the turning points are visual pivots)

Image 1 - Green line is ERL, Price breaks red line, downtrend starts.

Image 2 - Green line is ERL, Price breaks red line, downtrend starts.

Image 3 - Green line is ERL, Price breaks red line, downtrend starts. Then we have got a higher low and higher high. What is the current phase market in ?
Sideways or Uptrend ?

Image 4 - No need to draw ERL here, as visual trend turned sideways. Red line break, downtrend starts, as that has given the highset high. After the break down, we got a higher low and higer high. IN what trend we are currently in ? Sideways or Downtrend ??
Da, in this above chart, if all pivots are minor pivots, is this correct?

in 1 we have a minor down trend
In 2 we have a VPH at the top when price closed below Green ERL and a VPL at the start of red line, and now we are in Visual DT because VPL broke
In 3 we are in a visual sideways
In 4 is red line a VPL?
