That is typical near expiry. Trouble is trading the narrow range at every 10 point step, coupled with premium distortion, is sure way to make the broker rich. I for one is not signing up for such charitable work. :D
jhand market from last two days :annoyed:
Yes , we retail traders giving livelihood to brokers and algos and now they want us out of the markets.

Hi Dax
Could you share your experience on the above, What it's telling exactly? I don't have much experience on this though I felt, in the morning premium got reduced which signifies potential pull back (my assumption). So closed many of my long positions.
It simply means you would be playing double jeopardy if you enter. You short at discount price, market takes sudden upturn, and you would cover by paying almost double. Or You go long on upturn, market stalls and premium starts falling, and you would be trapped, get out of the trade at scratch or minor loss.

Just stay out.

Yes , this also means even if you are positionally long and market gaps up ,you gain nothing and vice versa for gap down.

No no no. You are getting all wrong, amit. Algos or market makers do what they do. But one thing they can't do - ie, force you to trade.
It is us who are so itchy fingered that we fall blindly for every trap they lay out.
Yes correct but with markets grinding like these , they just play with our patience.

Yesterday gap down and went up, today gap up and then down,Nifty in a band of 10-15 points.

If an intraday trader has to sit for day's on end what will he do ?Trade out of impatience ,correct ?
