Once a market gaps down , you have to wait for a rally or pullback to enter short.

Yes Shorted at friday's low ..and now MTM is big green

Intra-day shorts at resistances, mainly RNs of 7540 (market got stuck here for quite some time) and 7550. Compounding to that, a wrong short trade got entered at 7519 levels which quickly went up.
The trades moved only ~10 points before cruising high. It's not a sacrosanct method, but works in intra-day.

European futures have given up gains, expecting more downmove at 1 PM.

No Mostly I trade Intraday only ...will exit this short, if nifty touches low of the day..otherwise EOD..or will take stop hit at HOD..simple one trade ..and relax day
