MF managers are NEVER going to say "It's not a good time to buy".

Their job depends on the number of people who buy into their schemes. I wouldn't go by what they have to say. But I guess most people in the forum already know that.
He has managed for 20+ years with very good long term results. I have read his opinions for few years now. During the europe crisis too he said to buy ( sensex 14-15k), back then i understood what he said but didnt act and waited for buying lower. Anyway, future is always uncertain - you are free to make your opinion. This was a nice read too.

Nothing wrong with that. The small occasional buyer doesn't realize that you can't invest in the stock markets with the fixed deposit mentality, that it's not a "fill it, shut it, forget it" investment, that the investments have to be managed on a daily basis at least by defining a stoploss. That's why this is a good advice to recommend investing through MFs.

Investments are NOT managed daily by defining stop losses.

In any case, it's hard to judge anything when MF guys teli you to buy at 9000 and also at 4000.
