One of them is pivots method which Subhdip has shared in its basic form...but how many can trade it successfully ? Methods don't make money...it is the trader trading the methods makes money...one can trade very profitably with simple 21 MA line...trade management,risk control is more important.

Few things I follow are as under :

1) Don't trade all the gaps.Trade 1st or 2nd gap.After third or fourth gap it is generally time for the move to end or go sideways.

2) Make sure that we have an extended move earlier so that the current move is likely to extend to some extent.

3) I have never used this observation as a stand-alone trading system.I have always used it to decide to hold the positions or not.So I have no idea how it will do as a system.I don't recommend it to be used as a system but one can incorporate it in the system with other subsystems to confirm the strength of the move.

4) It works better if the move is a breakout / breakdown from congestion or after a breakaway gap.

Bro from your level there has been a vertical 200 point rally and going strong.If you were trading on Dow you could have caught the bottom(Was working late on office work just read your post and checked )

I never did Option trading so the query,pls do reply friends-
I'm looking for quick/small scalps..

1)IF CMP is say 7240 and there's some support and we have a bullish view,which CE do we buy for 8-10 points profit?(I'm expecting 8-10 pnts move only)

2)And say we get a sell signal in chart at 7287,which PE one should buy?

(yeah,there r many threads on option greeks,but all r abv my head)
