General Trading Chat

Just before market open, Sukhani and Prakash Gaba both advised buy right at open, whatever the price. Didn't mention any stop losses.

If you trade even as low as 10 lots, the minimum average price that you could have bought at right at open is about 7375.

Long day ahead, let's see.
Low 7330 - quite a few SL would have been hit.

I was surprised Sukhani recommended buy right at open but I don't think he personally had any open positions since he usually discloses them.

Sir

Are you using this principle, how do we understand the term "attractive valuations" ?
Any parameters for that.

All the companies I bought are good businesses in my view.Attractive valuations means below stocks mean historical valuations...my take is that if India grows at 7-8 % growth , these companies have to grow much faster. They are down for reasons of NPAs,global turmoil etc but then that is the opportunity for me to buy....but I am not buying in F&O and with leverage. I am buying in cash market with 3 years hold view.

Ravi Bhai, what system do you trade? no entry for me in this beautiful fall, so just enjoying the visuals for now :D
I took full 1x short at 7400 based on (i) 7400 RN resistance for both NF and NS (ii) W%R overbought at 5 min TF (iii) S&P futures breaking an upward channel on 5 min

Psychological TSL hit at 7350 (not based on pivot, wanted to secure those many points).

Just see HDFC bank's chart for 1-1.5 years....its average price is 1040-50 and price below that and towards 1000 is a good buy...it has only on 2 ocasions dipped below 1000.The company's profits are growing 15-20 % YOY and it is a good stable investment stock with low NPAs.

ST Da,
In VP method, we would wait for a rally and failure to take out the high, to get short, am I correct?

If it keeps falling, will there be a short somewhere?
