Which one is good in sideways market ? Everything is good in trending markets.
I heard AAroon indicator something is good in sideways.
I wasted time on that, no use. u don search for it.:D

recent observation of price and candles is making me believe that bars closing "inside" previous bars z a good sideways price pattern,(not indicator).
I feel I understand the logic also. never said it publicly though..

see post - http://www.traderji.com/trading-dia...ew-way-pivot-trading-vwap-50.html#post1135497

pls tell wat u feel abt this hypothesis,?
hope I was clear in expressing what I wanted to say. :)

Yes, maybe Modi is hoping that Make in India will have the same effect as the "Vibrant Gujarat Summit" that he started in Gujarat.

There are sceptics though.

Question to Modi as he kickstarts Make in India week: Will the jamboree revive investment cycle?

Surely there will be announcements of projects worth lakhs of crores etc. Let's hope it will help kick off the investment cycle.

10 Day Trading Tips

1. Day trading is simple, but it ain't easy. If you want to stay in this business, leave "hope" at the door and stick to your stops.
2. When you get into a day trade, start looking for signs right away that you are wrong. If you see them, then get out before your stop is hit.
3. Day trading should be boring, like factory work. If there is one guarantee in trading, it is that "thrill seekers" get their accounts ground into parking meter money.
4. Amateur day traders turn into professional online traders when they stop looking for the "next great technical indicator" and start controlling their risk on each trade.
5. You are trading other traders, not the actual stock. You have to be aware of the psychology and emotions behind online trading.
6. Be very aware of your own emotions. Irrational behavior is every day trader's downfall. If you are yelling at your computer screen, imploring your stocks to move in your direction, you have to ask yourself, "Is this rational?" Ease in. Ease out. Keep your stops. No yelling.
7. Watch yourself if you get too excited - excitement increases risk because it clouds judgment.
8. Don't overtrade - be patient and wait for 3-5 good trades.
9. If you come into day trading with the idea of making - big money, you are doomed. This mindset is responsible for most accounts being blown out.
10. Don't focus on the money. Focus on executing day trades well. If you are getting in and out of day trades rationally, the money will take care of itself.

What instruments do traders with medium to large capital - take two categories - 30L capital and second 70L capital - trade.

Such traders - do they trade intraday primarily or swing - or what would be ratio : 30:70 intra:swing which these large traders would trade.

I do understand that traders do diversify to other investment avenues - like real estate/mutual fund etc or invest in multibaggers.

But what's of interest is post what point of capital does it becomes difficult to manage day/swing trading

This query got burried - any viewpoints

The more I run an excel modelling - the more I get to ask this question on what if I'm successful - what's the strategy to manage large capital

How do best of best do - whats the approx max trading capital deployed without moving the market

With a consitent system, it is possible to make anywhere ranging from 5 to 10% (theoritical) on monthly basis (Guy's don't bash me on this - i already sair theorical)

The moment you move to higher capital base - how does one manage it - does one exit trading and draw boundry on trading capital and become multibagger investor

Can you throw some light on third one - as very little said on this topic - it's an interesting area if played correctly - limited risk limited profit - but can give consistent returns - which compounded can make life simpler
. i write nifty option pairs, this is where my major energy gets utilized. (No pair writing on sandbox account as it has limited margin. Started this FY with 100k Rs in this account and its alreading sitting on 133k profit
