General Trading Chat

I meant 3 min TF. I am scared of judging a change in trend so quickly, as it could be just a pull back to NS 7000 (BRN) level, so I asked.

What other parameters could have been considered to confirm the trend change?

for me price action reading is the only parameter i consider along with trend lines
but most imp is pa.

Can MACD be always used for this purpose, not mechanically but having a fair idea? If yes, on what TF as per your experience?
Not always but , whenever it gives a clear indication ,there is a strong trend.

I usually follow price action , on a 5 minute timeframe MACD also gives many whipsaws.

Check the box, price in a band, when price breaks that band and MACD confirms , there was a great bearish trend yesterday, and similarly today was the reversal.

I think a general observation can be that MACD is a good trend reversal indicator when it is further away (say >10 or <-10) from 0 on either side, what say?
