to all day traders , what percentage of your profits are [ brok + other charges ].
not on monthly basis but quarterly/ six month/annual basis.
is it 25% , 50% or more.
as in daytrading due to higher number of trades , other charges add up.

see this post of TP http://www.traderji.com/general-trading-investing-chat/92265-performance-postmortem-7.html#post1140968, in feb his charges are only 24% of profits , but if we take more months like 6 or 12 months .
Xray , ST and others please share your charges to profit ratio for half year/yearly . :D
TR bhai !!!

For me it is 54 % last year and this year it is 47 %..:eek:..it lot depends on time frame we trade and number of trades per day !!

I had posted this query in the forum somewhere. When you insert the dongle, it installs its software and a USB modem. Then you can't install another dongle unless you uninstall the first one. Someone said that you can connect a broadband and a dongle together, start the broadband first.

You mean that the dongle software is not installed on your PC ?? Or do you use different PCs for different connections ?

What is mobile tethering ??
TP , mobile tethering is nothing but sharing the mobile internet from your mobile phone to other devices. For example you can tether your laptop to your mobile phone and share the internet from the mobile phone. It is very handy, particularly if you are travelling or there is a power failure.

Connect mobile using USB cable, activate USB tethering in mobile, and mobile internet is ready in pc
Ok. I get that.

But how to connect 2 dongles to a PC ?? I don't have internet on mobile.

Guys, got an email yesterday :

Do ATM credit spread on the Put, and with the money you get buy a near Call. Three things can happen now:

1. If Nifty does not move then there is nothing much to lose as you did not pay anything from your pocket.

2. If Nifty goes up – great you make money for free. Best situation and very likely. :)

3. If Nifty goes down there can be loss. Right now it looks very difficult that Nifty will fall suddenly. But if that happens you must be ready to take a stop loss. Remember that credit spread means there is a protection so the losses are limited.

Pls somebody give a figurative example, like which strikes to trade
