Hey Dan, please share some link/material on this. On the face of it, looks like bunching of various MAs point towards a turning.
The method has his flaws like any other method and needs time to understand. As the discussion in the thread was very often of the time only on the road:" Pivot when and Pivot why and Pivot what and Pivot if even and Pivot and Pivot", but very little else on any other topics or other ways of trading, I thought I post once such a fancy chart built on the method of: Fractal analysis.

Here the guy who discovered it: Benoit B. Mandelbrot

Here a simple way of looking at it: A Trader's Guide To Using Fractals

Here a book to read about it: Fractal Market Analysis

But ST da, how are a student expected to trade properly if we don't know all the tricks and fine prints of the VP method.

Kindly show us if these small details are already shared in forum somewhere....

If it's not at all shared then please share it with us, atleast give us something in writing so that we could understand it better, I understand that not all people will get to master the fine tricks, but at least share it, who knows with time people will understand it, or at least some will do
Yes ST da

Please tell us where to find all details of the VP method......... If they are already shared

Looks a lot like Guppy Moving Averages.

Also look up "Quadra" in this forum.

Also, Columbus had once posted a 3D-BB system.

@TP

Guppy Multiple Moving Average - GMMA is included as part in the whole concept. But it has really less to do with 3D-BB system, as a simple BB is built on Standard Deviation and one MA. Fractal the way shown has nothing to do with Stdv.

Quadra on the other hand was from dear "Savant" and is a system on purely four MA's. I did not favor it at any time. But that is my choice.

So, If you want to get into "Fractals", then a good way is to use the links I posted and forget about the BB and Quadra.
