From 21st March onwards NF is basically stuck in a small band of 120-130 points. Very boring situation  , got stopped out in both directions couple of times in this period. So now playing "World of Warships"... Plenty of actions there.. !

The ask bid spread in nifty options is around 0.5 for 100 Rs premium. So if you just buy and sell 1 lot at same second you loose 0.5 % plus taxes and brokerage approx 1% lost just by trading.

So its best to play anything/games than trade when there is no set up.

Whistleblower exposes the supposed existence of "dark fibre" at NSE and BSE to help traders with deep pockets.

On one hand, SEBI wants to get more people into the markets but is incapable (or unwilling) to deal with manipulation that happens behind the scenes. The tendency to look the other way is all too common in entitled bureaucracy.

No wonder, a majority of Indians still prefer to keep their savings in bank FDs & PO schemes despite earning lower-than-peanuts returns. And if a rate cut happens tomorrow then those returns will shrink even further.

Also on a related note, look up "Panana Papers". A couple of big-shot Indians there too: http://www.thehindu.com/news/intern...ccounts-of-rich-and-famous/article8432340.ece
