If market opens in yesterday's afternoon range so do we keep avoid whole day or only morning session.

We have to wait for today's visual pivots to form, then trade their breakouts or failures.

I also had same confusion. for me convincing and objective answer came from Yday Vwap range. if price today is in yday vwap range, expect sideways and choppiness.

it was evident in tatamotors and tata steel chart today.

2nd short was @ 7630=failed-this wasnt a pivot as per rule..but a pivot for me.

didnt consider yesterday range..and paid off

Shorting area was 7645-55 and covering area was 7620-10. Sideways day with negative bias.There areas were clear on VWAP bands.

today vwap range = today's vwap and today's +-1sd range
