St sir in intra day trading how much stop loss you kept per trade as you said when in profit 10 point you kept stoploss at break even you kept 3 point above entry point so that tax and brokerage covered or at entry level or we should moved out when trade closed back in our entry bar
As i understand,
1) This trail every 10 point is for trades within sideways zone where we enter at extremes ( Range Extreme / VAH-VAL ) on failures/Virtual High/Pivot breaks
2) When trending, we take pivot breakouts with initial stop behind BO bar/ nearby pivot. This stop is only for emergency v-reversal. If a bar B1
closes back behind pivot that it broke, then we exit on break of B1. Once a trade moves, give more space - trail behind mp.
3) After exit we can look for reentry using bar break similar to swing example 2 above. Also,
- In case of weak and limping breakout I may not re-enter at that level but will re-enter at fresh level if that breakout succeeds
- But on a strong and quick reversal to original direction, will always re-enter
4) 2) and 3) are one style of trade management. You can also use simple trail behind minor pivots if you prefer it.
5) For BO trades out of Sideways zone (VAH/VAL, Visual Sideways), may want to wait for a decent bar close out of the zone (and not take direct VP/Extreme BOs). Else get trapped by pin bar rejections many times.
