Where sequential is concerned, won't it need a close above the 12th bar to signal a possible trend change ? Also, what is the sequential position on banknifty ?
There is something called terminal count which is applicable only to 13th bar to qualify.

Bank Nifty unable to see...have some issues with my daily timeframe charts .

@Smart_tarde,

This question is on long term investment. In this thread there are very less talk on long term investment. I have seen you have mentioned about BAJAJ finance and riding it, I have ZERO experience in investment. I want to start it this financial year and learn it. I have no idea on fundamental analysis and how to do them. My question is -

Can long term investment be done solely based on charts and technicals. That is from weekly/monthly charts if one is aiming to hold them for more than a year horizon ?

Or

Fundamental studies are necessary for long term holding. If so what are the must needed factors to consider to get started in fundamental analysis..

Please guide.
For Long term investments it is very important to study the fundamentals of the company. The prices go up for stocks where there is strong growth in earnings.
