Does it mean :) followin sukhani for 5 months and 10 days one could be in loss. Earlier when I was going in negative for some extended period I scrapped my well backtested system. :annoyed: :annoyed:

People have wrong notion that his calls are wrong.Facts have proven that if one follows Sukhani for 6 moths ,he will make money. He is much sensible and more profitable than those Rs 3000 pm wala paid call services.

This is my observation and I may be wrong. Since the day Gujral started appearing on CNBC again, Sukhani's confidence seems to have been shaken. If there is any contra view is being expressed by Gujral, Sukhani seems to get a bit shaky . Around Dec- Feb period, I have seen him much more confident about his own strategies. Personally, I like Sukhani more as he appears to be more system oriented and more genuine.

But this doesnt explain the max time where you can be negative or underwater. In the worst phase of a sytem one can remain negative for quite a while. Eg if you face your worst drawdown followed by a small streak of wins then again face a drawdown. Then you can be down by quite an amount and if I am not prepared for it I will stop the system and call him bogus

Today's 3 min nifty chart is great example to find examples of the following in that chart :

1) Reversal above ERL.

2) Previous Support held.

3) Breakdown failure at earlier support.

4) Reversal on VPH.

5) VWAP bands

6) TD Point reversal

7) P-1 bar entry.

8) ST gap

9) Oscillator in OB zone for more than 5 bars indicating strong move ahead.

10) VWAP gap

There could be few more also....look for them carefully.

I just said 6 months as it is a reasonably long period. It does not mean that following Sukhani for 5 months and 10 days or 7months and 13 days could be in loss. But following for 15 days and making opinion on 1-2 stopped out trades will be too short a period in my view.

One must understand that Sukhani is neither God nor an astrologer who could predict each move .He makes his decisions on trends which can reverse and trade can fail. But I find him consistent in his approach and there is no gurantee that he will not face a cold period and go into a drawdown as we know that all systems and all traders face drawdown.
