100000 lac crores?? 1500 trillion dollars??

Thats 20 times more than world gdp :D
You crazy? 1 lac crore is not 1500 trillion dollars

1 lac crore is nothing these days, this size of scam is easily possible in a medium economy like India, remember 2g was 1.76 lac crores

World gdp is at max 150 trillion dollars, maybe much less

Ha ha ha...
Both of you are funny guys:
Read 100000 lac crore, and
Read 1 lac crore!

in 60 years nothing changed and people want ground realities in 2 yrs.....
whatever Govt is doing is wrong in media's eye.

In our india everybody is very itchy to give opinion on any thing in the world as if we all know everything.

Concentrate on our own work.
let them do their job.
if everybody is doing their job then sure.....

India will change some day.....

Very sad to see someone like Raghuram Rajan go. At the same time we must not forget that we have many other capable people from our country to take up the mantle. What troubles me is the way he was pushed to make this call. Not at all the way to treat someone like RR.
Rajan's exit in this fashion is unprecedented in this day and age where the focus of professional decision makers centers around retaining talent and rewarding performance. This also raises questions -- and avoidable noise -- about the temperament of the next one in and his ability to stay "compliant" to the will & whims of the central regime. Clearly, that's what is the gist of this story.

Objectively, this is an important "stand out" scenario because most of the previous governors got to complete full 5 year terms. Despite having performed well on multiple fronts (interest rate, inflation, PSU bank cleanup), RR is being indirectly shunted out in just 3 years.

The last time such a mid-term exit happened was in 1992. That was almost 25 years ago in a different time and a very different age.

See: Raghuram Rajan second RBI Governor since 1991 to leave office without a 5-year term

My trading plan for the week when it comes to Nifty is to short it if a 10min candle closes below 8100 or go long if the same happens above 8200. Will keep an sl at the other end and wait it out.

The chart i have attached will show what i have in mind and why :)

Lemondew,

Trust China? We did once, and coined the term Hindi-Chini bhai bhai, and we know what happened after that.... To take China at their word would be foolish in the extreme....

As I see it, we are in reality alone and friendless, and we need to take care of our own self-interest. Americans are using us against China to do their dirty work in South China sea etc... and we seem to be swallowing the bait. Antagonising China will come at a great cost to us....

So Modi went to US and addressed the joint session of Congress last week... And our media went gaga.... A day after, the American senate failed to recognise India as a "global strategic and defence partner" The motion to pass this resolution was defeated.... and is a resounding slap on our face.... Did you hear anything of this in the news? No, we were all bowled over that Modi got to address the joint session of Congress. It may be an ego boost, but little else . Why play second fiddle and defer to the US/West? I fail to understand...

Add to this, US Senate will give conditional military aid of US $300 million military aid to Pakistan... Total military aid to Pakistan is US$ 1 Billion per year.... The question is when US is financing our enemy militarily and financially, while using us for their own interest, why is there no talk of this in our media? Why are our analyst and experts silent over the issue? Is it because they get invited to US junkets for 'talks' and 'briefings' to think tanks or it is because they hold a pro US bias because they hold degrees from US universities? So the news in the media creates favourable public perception looking at superficial crowd glorifyig Modi, and ignoring deeper issues?

A friendless Russia, has been a true and tested ally of our country.... But due to our short sightedness we have rubbed them off the wrong way.... hence even Russia will not sell us their most advanced weaponry but instead they have become a military equipment supplier to Pakistan!!!

Similarly, UK and Germany toe the US line... France sells their advanced Scorpion submarines to Pakistan, and Rafael aircraft to India. The West is interested in India for business and commerical opportunities. We need to look at our self interest and leverage our strength and talk from a position of being atleast an equal... instead of fawning and falling down by fake adulation... But unfortunately we look at TV screens in awe and seem not to recognize deeper issues.... :annoyed:

China not opposed to Indias NSG bid.

Modi and team seem most capable team at centre atleast since last decade

If RR is not able to get along with centre it is better that centre have someone who is in sync with their economic plans. I am sure the centre must be having their own financial advisors.

I ll leave it at that

Do you think the previous Govt would do the job better? We voted and watched them for 60 yrs as a guy above said. Lets see this govt for 5 years and decide

Its good to have an ideal and perfect govt which doesnt exist unfortunately.
So better get on with your best bet.
