All natural calamities are very very bad. Surat had very severe floods in August 2006. We were flooded for 1 WEEK continuously with first floor under water in 60% of the city. The aftermath was equally bad - the silt, the mud, the stink... the cleanup went on for more than a month. We had celebrated Rakshabandhan during the flood that year.
in 1994 there were severe floods followed by the plague (which gave the city a bad name all over the world). Vehicles bearing number place "GJ-5" were stoned in other parts of the country.
Man made calamities are equally bad - The riots of 1992 etc...
Big portion of north india will be destroyed in a big earthquake....it was told by a great yogi ...it has not happened until now but the way earthquake keeps on coming ...i feel..it might not take long..
Then some baba predicted that the Ukai dam will be destroyed due to some celestial event on 08-08-08. Surat's existence depends on the safety and soundness of Ukai dam. There was widespread evacuation before that date (but nothing happened
).
Do ya remember 2001 Gujarat earthquake..now imagine that kind of situation in many states in north india... this italy earth quake is small..what we are going to experience will be way worse... lets hope...it does not happen and people dnt die...
yes very worse hit !!! indeed earth quake is most dangerous natural calamity !!!
