Da, what is the reason you have not started your own PMS ? I recall reading somewhere that you had once refused some political (or business not sure) bigwig's request to manage his huge portfolio. What is the reason?
Few reasons...

1) Few years back when I was building my capital,I used to think that if I have X amount to trade, I will do very well.....but slowly over the years my capital increased to many multiple of x lakhs...so now the capital is no issue.

2) I am not inclined to do the marketing, systems ,administration efforts needed for running a PMS. Also I dont want to answer investors who get scared with 2-3 days of market coming down in correction...I do research and stock pickings for my portfolio which is of a reasonable size.

3) I dont want to tie myself with SEBI,its regulations, reporting etc I dont have organisation for all these.

4) I still recommend stocks to few close friends and family members who are doctors, industrialist etc...and they buy from their broker....nothing is charged to them..all done in friendship....they are busy professionals and high earners so they dont breathe down my neck.As this is done free, I command huge respect from these people.

Flat market and the thread has gone so silent. Anyone here expecting a correction ? Option chain suggests flat to up market. My system is still showing a short in Bn. Sitting on the sidelines till 23,000 or 23,300 is taken out in BN.

so you want to miss move upto 23300
nevermind, not a bad idea

TNB bhai not confident enough to get onto a buy now. (probably why the market will go that way  ). Dont mind missing a few points in the larger scheme of things. Have become risk averse in the recent past trying to protect profits made last month.
then how come it will move after 23300, any analysis
and
if reverts say (just for example, not saying it will revert) from 23333, then

Then im stuck and will have to use the buffalo and water analogy :D.

Meanwhile holding Bajaj Finance in long term portfolio is a tough task. Every dip of 5-10% i buy it on and within a week its back up again. These are some of the better problems i hope to face more. But to add more and hold on is tougher.

Yes, I can understand that as we keep moving up, it simply become more and more difficult to keep adding
But, one has to take risk, as per his analysis

No Risk, No Gain

Was watching a documentary on Jim Simmons- the mathematician who cracked wall street. Very interesting please check it out. He has a system that sounds similar to yours.
Reading books, watching documentaries or videos by all such persons and then to understand all these, is not my cup of tea.
So I keep myself away from such stuff
