MUMBAI - Tata Sons Ltd, the holding company of India's salt-to-software Tata conglomerate, plans to buy out Tata Steel Ltd's stake in Tata Motors Ltd on or after June 23, it said in a regulatory filing on Saturday.

Tata Sons will buy about 83.6 million shares in Tata Motors at or around the prevailing price of the stock on the date of the planned acquisition, it said in the filing.

Tata Sons owned 28.71 percent of Tata Motors at the end of March, while Tata Steel owned 2.9 percent in the vehicle maker.

Tata Sons owned 29.75 percent of Tata Steel at the end of March, while Tata Motors owned a 0.46 percent stake in the steelmaker, according to stock exchange data.

Sir, just pulled out a chart from the past,DrReddy, that eventually hit SL as per system.
How differently would you trade this chart?

9.7 Inch Ipad ST Sir? What Screen size is sufficient for checking charts?
I have 2 IPADs one is IPAD Air and the other one is IPAD mini...IPAD Air is comfortable on eyes..but it drains its battery faster ( it gives me 4 -5 hrs) and IPAD Mini screen size is small but it gives 6 -7 hrs ...IPAD Air has a screen size of 10" ( could be 9.7") I think...mini has 8 inches I guess...

Check the specifications...I measured the screen with my 6 " scale so may not be accurate.

Screen size is ok for charts...

expert traders have no problems , we are the struggling ones
If the computer hangs or data stops updating ,everyone will have problem,no question of expert traders or struggling traders....

Could be that Apple's operating system IOS is more compatible with Kite....not sure but not a single issue in last 6 months. Only issue in the new version of Kite is the charts cannot be shared as it was possible in earlier versions..

Commenting on the chart from the past is a hindsight analysis...but after the entry, the market did nothing for almost 20-22 bars which makes me suspect of the reversal...so after it started going up, it tanked again and went into the range will be enough for me to get out as a scratch trade...I won't wait till the stoploss is hit.

I am not a person who will break his head on the stone wall in the name of "discipline"....so the moment I find that something is not going as per the plan, I get out of the trade by scratching it and preserve my capital.

Yes TP, many purist disciplined traders will say you should take the stoploss as a part of the system and have discipline to follow the system....I have discipline of taking a trade but if the trade is not working out, won't wait for it to hit the stoploss ..

Simple example from our daily life...suppose a railway track engineer is inspecting a railway track and he has checked the railway timetable to ensure no train is scheduled on that track...but if he sees a full mail train coming in full speed, what will be his action ? Will he stand on the track thinking how the hell this train came on this track or get away from the track ?

So in that sense I am not a " disciplined " trader....more of a common sense trader.
