You can lock one thread but the troublemakers open a fresh thread outside that thread and start making irrelevant comments about the person and his methods....and traders who are trading really large and successfully dont have time and inclination to get into arguments, proving their point to someone who is posting to demean them....I know the quantity they trade and it is really very large...

Sir, I have another idea, instead of locking the entire thread, let there be conditional posting mechanism for certain prized threads i.e. in addition to the thread owner and moderator, elite members/seniors having favourable profile badges (Reputation/LEDs and stars of profile have access to post in that thread. This way the thread will remain clean and adequately participated.

It makes a difference.If a successfull trader is sharing something and someone comes and mentions even in general chat thread that" this guy understands nothing....chart trading is all nonsense,trends dont work,I am a contrarian trader and I see 100 years of bear market ahead...."I am sure the successful trader will not be amused and he will start thinking why in the first place he is coming and wasting his time sharing something impartant. He has no need for publicity nor proving anything to anyone.

There is a provision for creating a "Community" but it's not activated in TJ. In the community the owner sends invitations to the members that he wants to interact with. Maybe TJ thinks that it will affect the traffic in the main forum.

Good morning. I think there will always be critics in the world. The more the ignorance the more the criticism. The higher up you are in the ladder also the more the number of critics. Even Gandhi was criticised, how can we live in this world if our actions are governed by the criticism of others?
