Exactly similar case happened I think is Nov and there also I had put in this advice. Good run up for last two days, gap up, first bar red -- look to reverse after applying a big gap filter. Prices have reached exhaustion level after big run up and last burst of the gap- see the unilateral fall after opening.

It will be a good idea to see the mother thread again. I will look up the reference post later in the day when I get time.

i think bcoz gap was in our favr.

its not becoz gap was in our favour.
Gap rule applies even if gap is in our faovour. But Gap has to be visual.
I do not see todays opening as a GAP UP atleast on my charts.

Guess my reading of the situation is incorrect as Saint has agreed with Komal. I went short as per my logic. Lets see how things turn out.

What was the correct trade ? Those in Feb futures, witnessed increase of discount which may have triggered SAR for some earlier.....

True, for me SAR triggered much earlier. Current position short in Feb future

saint sir was applying 2 bars rule correct today......??

i see we have a pivot nearby...and it was respected today........

as per my understanding 2 bar rule is applied when steepish move without pivots with gap ups...and/or WRB's.....but in dis case we have a pivot at 2783 i.e. 12 p.m. bar on 28 jan....

sir please help in this case i haven't traded and learnt live with you.... 2 bar rule confuses me.....if u can take out some time and explain today's case it wud b really helpful....

please sir giv ur input......
