Thanks Prabhjeet and vinst, Saint is applying moving filter to pivots and moving it pivot by pivot and not bar by bar ( as we do in mini flow). I had missed this post of Saint and was not aware of this. Thank you very much for bringing it to my notice . This is a very important point I would have missed had you both not taken efforts to bring it to my notice.

I most happily stand corrected and happy that I learnt a great point today.

Nothing much to it. Just put 3EMA and 13EMA on your 60 min bar/candle chart. Wherever they cross just draw or visualise a horizontal line back and you will see the crossover point coincides with the last pivot +/- a few points. It is a lagging indicator. To see current SAR point you will have to extrapolate the two EMAs roughly and see where they will crossover and see backwards. This is just a rough indicator in case of doubts about any pivot point which at this stage of our proficiency is not much needed. I use it to back test and segregate securities to see their suitability on 60 min flow method.

Yes Uthuman,

In Tiger trade, keep the cursor on the chart and right click, a menu will appear, click on add study, a window will open, just navigate to averages, select E and then periods. You can have "n" number of moving averages on the chart.

But I again say all actions as per Saint's rules please. This is just to resolve confusion about the SAR point. Normally SAR point confusion have a huge point difference, this method will resolve that, as it will point towards the most recent SAR point. Just back test this and you will see what I mean.

Too much of a struggle to put up a chart here. Have not done before so have to really see how to do that plus I am new to metastock also. Saving, writing text on it, taking relevant days and the uploading will take ages.

Just put the EMA's. Draw a horizontal line back from crossover. To see pivot lows, it is not a problem, it will loom above the horizontal line and difference will be a few points which we can take as filter (not actually but figuratively). For pivots highs, just see the highs of the bars which cross the line (near the top) (as EMA's are on closing price basis, the crossover bias is towards lower side) that means you have to add a filter to the crossover point to see PHs.

Pl see if this makes sense to you.If not, then no big deal just forget and move on with the serious business of trading on 60 flow method.

Same here. I was also not clear on this. With this many things have suddenly fallen in place and 60 min flow with pivots is now very clear. Miniflow has a different basis (philosophy) but 60 min flow is a beauty to behold and trade. Thanks to Komal for really arguing this till she was blue in the face.
