Is my understanding of MAjor and Monor Pivots correct :
The usual way to identify a Pivot is the simple way suggested by Saint, the Hand analogy... 2 bar with lower highs on each side of a HIGH bar, according to me this is a MAJOR Pivot.
However when the bars on each side is less than two, I consider that as a Minor Pivot!!!
Remeber reading somewhere on the forum, if the Pivot bars are more than one (the high of each bar either being at same level or near about) , almost like having a multiple Pivot bars, it is stronger Major Pivot!!!
As Saint says : Go with the eye... this probably is the best method!!!
But for the sake of clarification as this question continously nags my mind!!!
Seniors and expirienced people please give your input!!!
