Hello Inspire

Using the Pivot on 30 Minutes to reverse was a special case, the condition being that of a wide range down bar, followed by big gap down which again was followed by wrb (i.e steep fall) ...

But once we use this 30 Minutes Pivot we switch back to our regular flow on 60 Minutes from that point onwards. Don't look at past patterns, the flow is up now, thats why we are long, so now we reverse at Pivot Low on 60 minutes - 15

The present long position is perfectly OK.
But for further ADDs or STOPs we would be following the 60 mins rule only as of now.

But I think the news is leading for us to go for a Gap Down tomorrow. Also Dow is going to atleast 200 points gap down. Was it wise to hold a long overnight position? What you think.

Today after 3:10pm one of the famous broker called me to close all longs and told me to short nifty. They called me becasue I am new to that famous firm and it was part of their program to guide for new comers. BUT I NEVER MIND SUCH ADVISES....

This is the 60 min flow thread, where we are following a system. We do what this system tells us to do.

Every one will tell that you should follow the flow, never exit unless stoploss is hit. This is against the system. Patience pays. Ypu talk about profits and losses where as others follow the flow. This is what I have learnt from my observations.
Saint has said earlier that this is not the place for those who bring 'I' and 'my' and profitd/losses. For these you have money management.
Have you written the rules you will follow. I presume not. Thats why the huge losses. I am not an expert but trading on paper.

Pl do paper trading. Regularly follow what people do here. Do this for a month or two before you start trading with real money.

Hello Amrita,

You say you sold all yr positions at lower levels and suffered a huge loss which means you were buying when the mkt was coming down and the 60 min system was short in the morning. It went long when mkt started rising and after that point mkt did not look back. So you are trading out of tune with the flow. Dont do that,follow the system and you will be profitable in trading.
