People who are long on NF.... do not panic and sell and short now, thinking others are short... as Saint defined... two types of traders... though was a mistake yesterday... did not notice the PL at 60 and did not consult 30min for the PL of 4026... our stops were 3980... power of 10ps has kept us still long!... our SL now is 3797... at that point do not use head... just act! :)

Regards
Hi MB...

Sorry to post again on this, and though we may rip this threadbare, but in my humble opinion, it still really is a matter of perception.

One can say yesterday the 30 min pivot was even more obscure than the 60.
One may say yes 60 min pivot may have had something to it, but got befuddled by the rapid V-shaped moves in both directions.
One may say I did wrong and you did right.

Through all these ifs and buts and mays and junes, the fact is that the market was right and proved my position wrong.

So yes, the perceptions are two, and both correct, but only one can be on the right side in this trade.

And on the face of it, this system may seem simple, but thats far from being true.
As it will pan out, the issues of deep SAR levels, risk/money management are going to be pretty straight forwardas periodic formation of pivots will iron that out.

More importantly its the how and whys of SAR/pivots formation under different conditions/periodicity that will be the real learning.
Why?
Because in saying it is a matter of perception, the assumption is there will be no uniformity, and that in this system there is room for subjectivity.
And whose perception will win the day?
The Chosen Ones.
And who may that be?
Its the one who finds himself more often on the right side of the market than not.

And who amongst the team may that be?

I believe each one of us.
Because once the position has been moved, the flow will take us where it will.

Today is a case in point.

Amit.
