To make it a valid Pivot doesn't the subsequent bars need to move higher than the yesterdays highs?

Hi Sam i think Mj and you are saying same like we need a rally after making a low to mark it a pivot low ... again we may or may not cross the previous high but if we had a rally yesterday afternoon or last bar after making that low which is a "V" shaped move then we can say we had a pivot : my veiw

Hi, I think some of u are using tradetiger charts. I am learning by studying you guys and now I have my tradetiger charts. Cld u tell me how to save the charts? And how do u save the numeric figures/ levels in the chart? And how do u write anything on the charts. And once the charts are saved can u do the studies/modifications on the chart? If u can, pls do tell me how. Sorry to bug u guys.But pls do reply. I am trying to match the ur conclusions on my chart.

Yes we have a valid pivot in this case .... but i think each time we may not need high to cross to say it a valid pivot

Nope Sam......the most recent previous pivot low would be what you are looking at.

3861 spot nifty(todays low) becomes the pivot then and hence the reversal point,if we reverse from here and the add at 3966 ( yesterdays high)

If you go thru this tread couple pages back(yesterday's post) you would see the same question was asked, basically you neeed to take screen shot and use some image editing software to edit it(since you have tradetiger just like me)

Supposing this 60min bar closes here, the next one takes out recent low of 3863, then THAT is our reversal SL point. Or atleast for me it is.
