Amitji please elaborate bit more

Satya
Ah Satya...drop the ji yaar.
I'm just trading along with the class....I'm not even visiting faculty.
Not a lot that's not too obvious, Satya.
From the peak at 4300 on Sept 22 first 60 min bar to the low at 3773 on Sept 30, the move was directional. A near 500 points it was, most of which we got to keep, and what got left behind on the table was the insurance we paid to ensure we went with the flow.
Range is shrinking:
Now from that low Sept 30 3773 level NF rallied merely to 4015 on Wednesday, to back to today's low and within this we moved positions twice. There's no saying that we won't need to do it again...as yet.
As we all know, should that 700 billion thing go through, speculative traders may push us again to reverse to long...then financial experts/FIIs will call their bluff, go short, and we'll be back to shorts again.
Then eventually we'll get that big directional move again, past this shrinkage period. Price tends to do this when the range shrinks. Check Bollinger Bands.
The bit about the bailout etc is conjecture of course, but these are the forces that have been moving us for quite a while now.
That's all.
Amit.
