But New Rules came today and most people shifted to shorts yesterday!

I was still long!
Man, there were people that went short on 14th itself when we had a huge gap opening and then they acted on first 5 min bar low - 20....

so really, there were few of us that held onto our longs in the midst of all this...its ok....lesson learned...lets forgive and forget...and take up new positions according to the new rules...

The new rules may shake you around a little while the market makes up its mind.
But when the vertical moves come and the pivot turns mirage like, you'll get to keep most of the move.
A tad high on whipsaws possibly, but a more robust system now.
Surely nobody shall mind giving a little more occasionally to the broker, compared to a sharp rise in profitabiity.

What the new rule has done, besides cutting out the noise around pivots etc, is that it has cut out the 'lag' in entries/SAR etc, which often intimidated a lot of the players here...which resulted in random tweaks.
Most guys are new here but I am quite aware of your geniusity :D

I hope the debate around pivots reduces, but I doubt it will. Visual will still mean different things to people. Something visual when chart y scale is 200 points may not be visual when it is 800 points. When to call a move vertical has been another point of confusion. I think there will continue to be arguments time to time, until Saint (or some other figure of authority) comes and shuts everyone up with an answer.

I believe there's none other figure of authority to shut everyone up, than the visuallly clean-cut pivot itself.
Saint's throat must be hoarse screaming this fact, just as his mouth must have gone dry watching the class tearing its hair out over seeing pivots everywhere and all the tweaks.
If I remember right, he used the term 'harakiri' very recently?
