Again, Saint Sir will clarify...I got confused when he used 3112-15 instead of 3112-20 on Nifty...

my definitions for pivots are messed up...

if he typed 3112-15 by mistake, then even ABAN would be 888-20...

hahaha....then our stop loss for Nifty is at 3112-20 = 3092....

and SAR for ABAN is at 888-20 = 868..

Made a big BLUNDER today....
Instead of putting the buy order at 3237 for qty 450, inadvertantly bought 4500.

Realised it just 1 min before markets close after my routine practise of pressing Alt F6 before close, so was out at 3270.

Very important lesson for today-----you lose concentration...you lose everything. Writing this so that all of you can take care.

OMG....saved for KC tomorrow.

Instead of putting the buy order at 3237 for qty 450, inadvertantly bought 4500.

Realised it just 1 min before markets close after my routine practise of pressing Alt F6 before close, so was out at 3270.

Very important lesson for today-----you lose concentration...you lose everything. Writing this so that all of you can take care.

Because of your mistake you made money.
Once I remember while adding to the trade a 'Cleared' the trade and markets went in profitable direction(but not for me since I was out of trade) next day I realized it.

Amrita, everyone has different risk appetite and different MM rules....if your appetite is for more, you should go for more...but the basic rules and fundamentals stay the same...so if you entered with 9 lots, your adds also increase....

Amrita, there is no rule regarding the lots you could buy... The rule is to have maximum 4 Adds. Meaning you could buy say 3 lots as a first buy, then could add 3 lots as first add(and so on for each add). Now while covering at SAR you would place order for selling 9 lots(6 lots to clear the initial buy and fresh sell for 3 lots)
The number of lots you buy is up to you based on MM and your bank account. By the RULE you are limiting the number of such adds(not lots)

Dear Rakesh,
I also made something similar mistake on monday in intraday 30 min nifty trade. that was my first trade using that system. after long trade triggered, I put my sl 10 rs above than actual sl by mistake. then my sl triggered and from there nifty rallied 150 points. that mistake is still disturbing me
