Technical Analysis works best only when it's combined with the order flow of the market. Order flow create the chart and not otherwise. Gap Day Traders' (Which incl. funds) order flow will support our trade only if we stick to what is regarded by a GAP by them as well else we will be prone to whipsaws which is just happening today.

As I said earlier, you may be correct in following what other traders are following regarding gap definition. Then you are trying to change the rules of the trade followed in this thread regarding gap. You should start a separate thread then to give your method.

It's not a question of my method or anybody else's method. This is the method which I learnt from Saint and a Few other gr88 Teachers (Ajay, Karthik, Amit Jee) here on this forum only a few years back. I am sticking to original method. That is the only difference.

Recently, I was suggested by one of my teachers not to post on this thread. Looks like I was foolish in ignoring his warning. There is hardly any place left for a healthy discussion on this forum anymore. :(

MG,shall explain a bit on visual gaps the way I see it after the market hours.....sorry,my friend,a bit short of mind and time to answer now.

Just a one liner now:Not wrong about what you are saying about gaps,.......but devised a method around one type.
