I do not know if anything special has to be done if circut hits...
Since we are short, worst case market re-opens and moves up rapidly, our stops gets hit and we go long... Just like otherwise..

I am not doing anything special other than setting my SAR
Sam -
Wonderful , NF in Unchartered territory and moving furiously in our view. As per strategy still short , however fully aware and prepared for the reversal. And whenever that happens nothing to rue about the brownies missed. As what is important is to be with the flow as long as possible and be satisfied that we participated in the move with the strategy clearly in place and kept our hearbeats in check :).

Simple (but definitely not easy, I must hasten to add) , Simple Saint's system doing wonders. Thank you Saint.

Regards
Inspire.

SAR values:

NF:2735+15=2750
ABAN:850+20=870
JPA:63+1=64
HDIL:143.5+2=145.5
LnT:787+10=797
RELCAP:634+11=645

Saint,
JP should be 63+2=65 right, i believe we use 1 for intraday? Not trading JP but just remembered it was 2

Circuit breaker limits are dynamic, they change with time!!! Dont know the exact mechanism but the levels are different if Circuit is hit before 1 PM or after 1 PM...etc. etc.
When is trading halted

Trading will be halted if index drops 15 per cent.

According to data on the BSE website, "In case of a 10 per cent movement of either index, there would be a 1-hour market halt if the movement takes place before 1:00 p.m.

In case the movement takes place at or after 1 p.m. but before 2:30 p.m. there will be a trading halt for half an hour. In case the movement takes place at or after 2:30 p.m. there will be no trading halt at the 10 per cent level and the market will continue trading.

"In case of a 15 per cent movement of either index, there will be a 2-hour market halt if the movement takes place before 1:00 p.m. If the 15 per cent trigger is reached on or after 1:00 p.m. but before 2 p.m., there will be 1-hour halt. If the 15 per cent trigger is reached on or after 2:00 p.m. the trading will halt for the remainder of the day.

"In case of a 20 per cent movement of the either index, the trading will be halted for the rest of the day."

Hello Saint,

From last 15 days i was a silent visitor in ur threads(Mini Flows & 60min Flow).
Liked the simple and effective systems of urs, i followed it and even exiting markets in profits.
Now i want to make my 1st post.

In mini flows and 60min flow, if seniors use 1 excel sheet for each scripts separetely i.e ( in mini flow 1.Nifty fut 2. HDIL 3. JP 4. LT ..)& (same in 60min flow) for the whole month.
And update them(excel sheets) in market hrs as they r doing by making posts in market hrs.
e.g samfisher have done earlier for Nifty in 60min flow.

Bcoz sometimes it becomes confusing for aggressive and pure.
