I have not read the previous posts you are referring to Komal, My thinking is, that type of reversal(sideways bars pivots) have been used in the past but only when there was a huge gaps in the trade direction and price failed to hold.

Just my understanding, but as Rakesh mentioned 2PM bar will be a pivot if everything holds as we are now.

I have not read the previous posts you are referring to Komal, My thinking is, that type of reversal(sideways bars pivots) have been used in the past but only when there was a huge gaps in the trade direction and price failed to hold.

Just my understanding, but as Rakesh mentioned 2PM bar will be a pivot if everything holds as we are now.

Only one issue with today's chart in comparison to the one you linked, is the 11AM bar(since its lower) , if that bar was not there then I would definitely say I see a pivot. Just my understanding of the charts, hope Saint or someone clarifies it.

On that ocassion too we reversed on break of sideways movement. If you go back and look at the chart you will find that on that day there were 2/3 bars which hit level close to 2858 and reversed from there.

Similar incident happened few days back, look at all those charts and you will have a better clarity.

even though the 11am bar is lower(low of 2995) next 3 sideways bar forms the pivot. it is difficult to visualise today bcoz the low of crystal clear pivot 2995 and the sideways bar 3021-3025 are not much far.
