Heh, cheating. Not many people even know what "sar" means.

Searching for "Nifty levels" or "Nifty sl" etc, doesn't bring up this topic however. Luckily.

You may right on the actual mechanism but orders which queue up for execution and visible to everyone is only after trigger is hit. Till then it may be in exchange or with broker (immaterial for the logic which I am trying make here) but the point is - it is not visible to any one (market movers here) for any strategic moves.

Does anyone have proof/know for sure either way?

Frankly, I find this conspiracy theory quite ridiculous and entertaining. There are perfectly normal explanations of what happened. Some volume data - 900K contracts traded yesterday and about 60K in half an hour where SAR level was tripped. Wonder how much is the volume generated by 60m thread - 25K?

Anyhow, will follow silence as popularly required.
